Make money online the rich jerk book review

: Do you want to make 200k or more a year? Begin now, working only three hours a week on the internet. I know there are many advertisements on the net that claim you can make money, and just about everyone has seen them before. Well I was one of those people until I stumbled upon "The Rich Jerk" book. Before I was enlightened on how to properly make money on the net by the jerk, I tried multi level marketing, pyramid schemes, auctions, surveys, home data entry and much more. I made a few dollars from those methods, but not enough so I make a living from, or even a second income for that matter. So then I started buying some book's from people who claimed to make loads of money, and thankfully I only bought a couple before I found The Rich Jerk. The Rich Jerk was the last book that I ever bought, and will be forever. Why? Because the methods that he teaches you are honest, easy to implement and they actually make the internet a better place! It's a win-win situation for all and can be done by anybody and everybody, plus there is no limit to the amount you can make. You don't have to quit your job; you could just make some money on the side or become a full time internet business entrepreneur. It is completely up to you and the amount of effort you put into it. At first I was of course skeptical, since I failed so many times, but I was determined to make money on the net so I knew I had to go for it. The full money back guarantee though is what really made me decide to get this book because I thought "What do I have to lose right?" Well that wasn't all that made this book great though, their were forums, a helpful blog and email updates of new money making opportunities that are working for the rich jerk. In fact the book was so good, that I read it many times over, and was very surprised to find out all the ways you can make money on the internet. In the first week after using the knowledge in The Rich Jerk, I made $526. I plan to keep doing this until I have enough money to retire, but even then I probably won’t stop because it is fun to make money on the net using The Rich Jerks methods. If you still want to know a little about what is actually covered in The Rich Jerks book, below is an overview of his e-Book and the overall ways you will learn to make money on the net. The chapters are actually very detailed and informative, these are just descriptions below. Chapter 1- Creating an Affiliate Network that sells like Crazy Chapter 2 - Unique Search Engine PPC Strategies - That Kill your Competition Chapter 3 - Search Engine Optimization Strategies Chapter 4 - Selling Your Own Information Product Chapter 5 - Buying Wholesale and Selling on EBay Chapter 6 - Creating a website you can make Profitable Right Now Chapter 7 - Other Online Ventures to Consider Chapter 8 - Supplemental Info for Beginners Chapter 9 - Quality Products/Services I Highly Recommend Like I said before though, updates, a blog and a forum with people trying to make money on the net like you are included free of charge with this book. That is why I consider it to be the best of the best, because no one else really offers this kind of help and support. Also most of the books being sold that claim to help you make money on the net are really just scams, and are actually written by people who don’t even make money on the internet! The Rich Jerk has been around for years and has helped so many others become rich jerks too, including myself. To try this incredible book completely risk free, Click Here!

Take better pictures with your digital camera

Today’s cameras make taking pictures a lot easier than the one’s of yesterday. There is always room for improvement, however. Use the following tips to help make your photos go from acceptable to great. 1. Always be aware of the background. You don’t want to find trees growing out of people’s heads or a passing vehicle to draw attention from your subject. Sometimes moving your subject just a couple steps to either side can make all the difference. 2. Use available light. If your digital camera has an option to turn the flash off and it’s light enough outside to read a book then use the available light and turn the flash off. In general camera flashes are too harsh for human skin and make all of us look pale. Indoors, where there isn’t enough daylight, place your subject by a window and use your fill flash feature. 3. Aim your camera slightly down at the person’s face. Also don’t shoot just face on to the person, try a little to the side, a three quarter view, so that you see more of their face. Remember camera higher looking down and a three quarter view, it will slim your subject. 4. Remember your focus. Get closer to your subject. Fill the frame with your subject and there will be no doubt as to what the picture is saying. 6. Never put your subject dead center. Put your just slightly off center; not a lot just a little. When you’re shooting groups of people, find the imaginary center line of your group and put that line just a bit off center in your view through your lens or screen. Following these tips won’t turn you into an award-winning photographer today, but you will be on your way to better, more powerful photographs that others will comment on for years to come.

Tips for avoiding home business scams

Avoid Home Business Scams Many websites claim to offer home business opportunties. Some people do make money at home through online jobs, but many of these so-called opportunities are scams. How do you know the difference? Here are some tips for avoiding home business scams. First, use some common sense. If you are looking because you're short on funds, it can be easy to talk yourself into believing the promises you will read online. Try to look at the offers objectively. Many scams try to convince you that you will become wealthy with little effort, and you might even see on the website that this is some "secret" for making money that is just now being revealed. Much later they reveal the cost for learning the secret. Before buying this kind of information, take a moment to wonder why it's being sold. If it's really that effective, the person selling it should be wealthy and not need to sell anything. Second, don't get involved in a pyramid scheme. These are programs that pay you to recruit but don't really have a product to sell. You make money by getting other people to join the system. This only works for those who start the pyramid scheme, and is illegal in several states. Note that this is not the same as home party or similar plans where you get a percentage from what you sell in addition to a percentage from those you recruit. Third, don't pay to stuff envelopes or make products. In fact, don't pay to work for anybody. Avoiding home business scams means avoiding anything that offers easy wealth. It also means avoiding paying to work for somebody. Don't expect anything online that makes no sense in the real world. Don't get scammed.

Income protection insurance could give you a replacement income

While losing your income is something that the majority of us never give much thought to, it can happen and if you were to suddenly find yourself out of work due to an accident, sickness or through unemployment then you could be left struggling financially. Income protection insurance could give you a replacement income with which to continue repaying your essential outgoings and give you security. The majority of income protection insurance policies would begin to pay out once you had been off work for a continuous period which can be anywhere between 31 and 90 days after the event and depending on the provider. The amount of time that a policy will pay can also vary but it is usually somewhere between 12 and 24 months, again dependant on the provider. Buying cover from a standalone provider is the best way to secure yourself the cheapest premiums for the cover and the cost can vary tremendously. It is essential to check the small print or key facts of the policy before you buy because this is what will allow you to decide if income protection insurance is right for your circumstances. While providers can add in exclusions there are some that are typcail to most policies. If you are in self-employment, retired, only working part time or suffering a pre-existing medical condition then a policy would not be in your best interests. By shopping with a specialist for the cover you will be given access to the key facts and exclusions which makes determining if you would be eligible easier. In the past income protection insurance has and in fact still does give cause for concern. This came about after the Citizens Advice made a super complaint to the Office of Fair Trading. Following this an investigation by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) began which resulted in several high street names being given fines. The Competition Commission began a review of the sector which is still ongoing and the FSA continue to keep the sector under their watchful eye. Recently the FSA announced that while some changes have been made to the way that cover is sold, many firms are still not following guidelines properly. Just recently a mortgage firm was fined and not only was the company fined but also the Chief Executive, who was handed a personal fine. Clearly many more changes still need to be made to make the products more transparent to the consumer and it is hoped this will be seen in March 2008parison tables will appear which should make choosing such as income protection insurance easier. The tables will ask a series of questions which will lead to the consumer being able to tell which product would be in their best interest and also tell the about exclusions and how much the cover will cost. For now the safest option you can take when it comes to buying income protection insurance is to stick with a standalone specialist for your cover and be sure that your policy will come with the key facts needed and is backed up by experience in selling protection cover of quality.

Christmas stress relief 7 simple tips

: Everyone loves Christmas, but the biggest complaint I hear is, "It gets too hectic." It's still the favorite season for most of us, but we do get tired. We still have to make a living; we still have to maintain our daily lives and then we add shopping for gifts, wrapping the gifts, decorating, entertaining or attending parties and possibly baking. It's fun and festive, but we get tired. Take some of the stress out of Christmas. Don't wait until the Christmas season begins to start thinking about it. Plan ahead and you'll enjoy it even more. Here are seven stress-relieving tips to make your favorite holiday relaxed and worry-free. Decide Who You Want To Buy For Make a list of the people you want to buy gifts for: Recipients. Keep it with you as a reminder, or at the least, keep it in your head. Open your eyes and window shop. When you see something you know you like, go ahead and buy it. And think outside the box. When you shop all year, you have the opportunity to do this. Every Christmas gift doesn't have to be a sweater or winter-type gift. Shop From Home Shop on the Internet. Have fun and explore. Many gift sites run promotionals off-and-on year round. When you're not under pressure to buy immediately, you have time to "window shop". And don't forget to keep your gift list in front of you. Record What You Buy Make a list of the gifts that you buy: Gifts Purchased. Each time you make a gift purchase, whether it's on the Internet or in the store, put it on the list. If you know specifically to whom you are giving it, put his or her name next to it. Go back to your Recipients list and write the name of the gift next to the person you are giving it to. You now have a cross-reference.

Sound too complicated and organized? It's not. It's really easy. If you don't make some kind of notes, you'll get real confused when it comes time to wrap. You won't remember who was supposed to get what.

Buy Decorations In The Off-Season Buy Christmas decorations year-round on the Internet. And in the off-season you can get them at reduced prices. Buy your decorations all year and when the Christmas season arrives, you'll be ready. Wrap Sooner Not Later As soon as Christmas wrapping paper is placed on the shelves, start selecting and buying. By this time, you should have a shelf full of presents to wrap. Wrap at your leisure; a few at a time or all at once. Just enjoy it. You have time to make the presents look outstanding. Give them that added decorative touch that will make the recipient feel special and give you the opportunity to be creative. Record What You Wrap You have two lists to cross-reference. Check off or make changes as necessary. If you didn't make a list, you should make one now. Don't make the mistake I made one year. I got all my wrapping done early, and by the time Christmas came, I couldn't remember what I was giving everyone or exactly what it looked like. I remember wishing I had a digital camera. I could have taken pictures of the presents before wrapping them. I don't have to worry about that now. I have a list and a digital camera. Collect Recipes Don't wait until you have to prepare a dish for a party to decide what you want to make. Start collecting recipes from magazines and friends. But don't stop there. You have plenty of times to try them out. Put stars beside the ones you especially like and will be proud to serve. When the time comes, it will be fast and easy to make choices. Christmas can be a pleasure, even before the season begins. Enjoy your window-shopping whether it's in the stores or on the Internet. But be ready to buy when you see something you like. Make your choices wisely and keep up with your lists. Following this plan will be a great stress reliever come Christmas time. Have fun and keep on enjoying Christmas.

How to work with drywall tools

The right drywall tools are an essential part of the job. Good supplies for drywall installation and drywall finishing can mean the difference between a professional looking surface and a mess. Tutorials are available online or you could take a class at your local home improvement center to learn to hang drywall like a pro. Basic Drywall Tools Needed Tools needed: o Trowels: you will need a plaster trowel and a corner trowel o Hand sander with a good handle or sandpaper and a block sander o Sanding pole is needed for reaching ceilings and other high areas o Cordless drill is needed for drywall screws. Choose a larger drill, if you do big jobs, such as a whole house. o Tape measure o Utility knife o T square: get a large size. Look for a four foot square to reach across a full sheet of drywall. This tool is important for accurate measuring and cutting. o Corner tool: these come in either steel or plastic. Some people use both, depending on the job. The difference is largely a matter of preference. o 4.5 inch steel knife to fasten the tape to the wall o 10 inch steel knife for finishing o Stainless steel mud pan for mixing compound. Stainless is the best choice, as it won’t rust. Supplies needed: o Paper tape for drywall taping. Paper is the best choice as the knife moves easily over this material. o Sandpaper in both 100 and 220 grit o Drywall compound: look for an all purpose compound. These are easy to apply and dry evenly. o Drywall sheets o Screws o Nails o Drop cloths o Keyhole saw o Steel ruler How to Work with Drywall Tools Complete tutorials for hanging drywall are available on the internet. Many home improvement stores offer workshops on drywall that last from a day to a weekend. These are good choices for the beginner. A major mistake many people make is trying to do the job too quickly. It’s better to go slow and take several days. The results will be more professional and you will be happier when you are finished. Start out by sketching out your plan on paper. Take accurate measurements of the room to determine how many sheets of drywall you will need. Allow a bit extra for waste. Decide on the type of drywall you need. Green board is made for areas prone to moisture, such as the bathroom. In general, you should start with the ceiling and then do the walls. Start at the top of the wall, near the ceiling and move downward. Keep the seams as tight as possible to help limit the amount of sanding and smoothing you need to do later. Use your T square to accurately measure the drywall. Score with your utility knife and then break the sheets. Attach these to the wall in a way that leaves the least number of seams possible. Once the drywall is hung, you will tape over the joints. Tape firmly and smooth with a finishing knife. Use your knife to smooth out the compound. Smooth the corners with your corner tool. Allow this to dry for at least twenty four hours. At this time, you can sand the drywall and add another coat. Wait another day before applying the third coat and sand this after another twenty four hours has passed. This will ensure the best possible installation and smoothest finish.

The evolution of ipods from their appearance to the ipod video

The newest and most popular innovation in iPod technology is, for sure, the iPod video. Still, getting to this innovative device is just the result of a long research through the history of the iPod making at 10phone . The appearance of the iPod was owed to an increased marketing request: the lack of quality of the digital music players was noticeable to the interested consumers, as opposed to the growing number of digital devices, such as cameras, camcorders and organizers. Due to this fact, the Apple industries established a team of qualified engineers in order to develop the mechanism and design of the soon to be first iPod, which resulted in less than a year of technical and practical research. The launching of the new and exiting product was held on the 23rd of October 2001 and soon, the market embraced the new product. The evolution from the first iPod, which was revealed almost 5 years ago, till the iPod video reveals the intense and permanent research of the specialized engineers. The next significant step in the evolution of this device was the release of the 2 versions iPod, for both Mac and Windows users, which highly increased the sales and the number of potential customers. Actually, the iPod sold at such a high rate, that the permanent improvement of the product, in order to maintain the leading position on the market, was a necessary request (the selling rate recorded over 42 million units since the release of the product). In 2005, the new and better iPod was revealed, when celebrating the 4th generation of these devices; the new model introduced, for the first time, the color screen. In the spring of 2006, the Samsung company announced that they were about to provide the media processor for a new iPod model, an improved version of the Apple’s device. Soon after, the 5th generation of iPods introduced the iPod video, meaning it has video playback capacities, video playing and better organization features. The launching was celebrated together with the innovative new models of iPods: the iPod nano, with color screen and the iPod shuffle, which were the best sellers of 2005. The 5th generation of the iPod was about to reveal many new and exiting features of the small device, all under the slogan One more thing... Basically, the iPod video or the video iPod was available on the market in both 30 GB and 60 GB capacity models, had ability to play both MPEG-4 and H.264and much higher resolution, up to 480/480. Having a 16-bit color screen and being able to display all kinds of videos on a TV set, the new product was a market hit since its appearance. Regarding the design, the new iPod comes, as the previous iPod (the nano model of the 4th generation) in 2 colors, white and black, but it has a multitude of applications and improved features: World Clock, Stopwatch, and Screen Lock applications, a smaller earphone, a thin slipcase, AC adapter and FireWire cable. Regarding the dimensions, the new iPod is 4.1 x 2.4 x 0.43 inches for the 30 GB version and 4.1 x 2.4 x 0.55 inches for the 60 GB version (which, in the case of the new model, are marketed at the same price). The screen size was modified to 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) diagonally, 0.5 inches (12.7 mm), meaning that the video iPod screen is larger than the previous one. Even more, the product is thinner than the last model, iPod nano, and the battery life increased from 16 hours to 20 hours. Still, being a video device, watching movies reduces the life of the battery to around 2 to 3 hours. With an exiting and evolving history, the iPod manages to be one of the most innovative products on the digital devices` market, with millions of customers all around the world and increasing sells.

Improve your home s value

Are you thinking about renovating and improving your home, or do you just like a home that needs a handyman. Then before you start spending your money you should know a few things. So you don’t end up wasting any money. There are many home improvement shows now; so many people expect good quality that is shown on these shows. That is one of the reasons many tend to expect their next house to be as nice as the ones on the shows. Improving your life style is a good investment; it can increase your home’s value. Some improvements can be, improving your master bedroom, media rooms and create outdoor rooms. Of course maintenance is the number one improvement, though the value of your home may not increase as a result. Buyers just naturally expect everything to be up to date, and as a result not keeping up with maintenance and appearance of your home can actually decrease the value. So be sure to have your home up to date, so fix those broken toilets. It’s a good idea to do some of the cosmetics touch ups yourself, if you can of course. Jobs like painting and stripping wallpaper is something you might be able to do. And it can improve the look of your home. But be careful of improvements if you plan to sell within 2 to 5 years. If your house is improved beyond the entire neighborhood that surrounds you, it’s possible that the value of your home won’t be recognized when you are ready to sell. And lastly you should keep track of your home’s value. The best way to do so would be to look at homes that are on sale that are similar to yours. That way you can compare with the value of your home. If you find out that a house down the street from you sold for $400 000 with an outdoor room and a new kitchen, then you can get an idea about your own home. About the improvements you should look into. So consider a few things before rushing into home improvement, other wise go ahead and enjoy the look of your new home.

You want to market your business but do you have the time

: Well, do you? If not, how do you have time to run a profitable business? By profitable, I am not just talking about money. I also include time to do what you want in profitability. Time is money right? I am going to give you golden nuggets of time management wisdom that I personally use in my direct response copywriting business. To qualify that these actually work...I utilize all of these methods personally, and I "work" no more than 4 hours a day! Use them in your business today! 1) The foundation is your desk. How clean and organized is your desk? Do you adopt the principle of "use it, file it, or throw it away" with every single item that comes across your desk? You either use information (paper, email, whatever), file information (only if you have TIME STAMPED when you are going to use it), or throw it away completely! Some items are just not important enough to waste valuable time on. 2) Magazines, do you read them? Really, do you? Or, like I used to, do you let them stack up in a pile...hoping to get to them someday. When you finally do, they are outdated...

or you manage to read a small part of a magazine, then throw it back on the pile you created. Here is the secret: Use the table of contents! Find those articles you like right away, and rip or cut them out of the magazine!

Then, read now, or file the article in a folder for that magazine subject or title. It is much easier to read the articles you are interested in only...and it makes sense. 3) Do you find yourself listening to audio recordings? If so, a real timesaver is to listen to the recording at double speed (2x). In 99% of the cases, you can still understand what is being said, and it doubles your efficiency in getting information.

This cuts your listening time in half! 4) How organized is your office? No really, I mean it. Is your office chair in easy reach of filing cabinets, supplies, and other necessary items without having to get up? Getting up and down for a few seconds each time adds up quickly...this technique alone can save you an hour a day! What can you do with an extra 60 minutes?

Perhaps take lunch? 5) How do you process "interruptions?" Do you end up checking a blank email box 20 times a day, or check it three times at specific times of the day? Do you schedule phone calls, or do you pick up the phone and answer it every time Aunt Mable calls? How you handle your incoming activities (phone, email, people visiting etc...) can seriously take away from your valuable time! Remember one idea here...

NOBODY AND NOTHING controls your time except YOU! It is a conscious decision that you make to take a phone call or send another email...attend a meeting...or any other time suckers. Please don't take it out on other people when "you don't have enough time.

" It is YOU that made that decision in the first place.

Boost your child s vision

Vision problems often run in families, but there are some factors that you can control in your child’s environment to help their eyesight. Try these tips to give your child’s vision a better chance. Brighten things up. Unfortunately, your mom was right: reading in dim light can wreak havoc on your eyes. Buy your child a good reading light, or make sure that homework is done in plenty of natural light. Give them space. Place a pillow about eight feet away from the TV, and tell your child they have to watch it from that distance. Sitting too close to a television leads to the same focus problems that your child can develop from using computers and video games. Take breaks. Experts agree that kids’ increased computer use can cause focus problems, particularly the ability to refocus on objects far away. Take note of how much time they spend in front of the computer, and make sure they take a ten-minute break every hour. Buy shades. Your child may not need glasses, but it’s a good idea to buy them sunglasses. UV exposure can lead to macular degeneration or the early development of cataracts. Don’t skip eye exams. Children should be screened by an eye doctor or pediatrician between 6 and 12 months, 3 and 3 Ѕ years, at 5, and then annually after that. It’s not too late for adults to start practicing these techniques, also. Make them a family habit, and you could slow the loss of your vision as you age. It’s important to set a good example for your children, too.

It s goodbye to google

You read that right. I've told Google to push off. Stop spidering me. I no longer want my online business to depend on its ever changing whims as to what makes a good or bad ranking. I don't want to spend time collecting thousands of backward links then find that they are probably worthless because the anchor text does not contain a suitable keyword, or the site does not have sufficient page rank, or whatever the latest algorithm is. I don't want to buy expensive cloaking tools and run the risk of penalization. I don't want to be bothered about whether a domain has a static or dynamic IP address or have to use different hosts to make a network of minisites. What's that you say ? You don't need fancy tricks - just provide good relevant content. My answer ? Nonsense. I have a huge content site devoted solely to ClickBank, the only one of its kind. If you wanted to find the most relevant content for a search on the keyword 'ClickBank' don't you think that would be at the top ? Well Google used to agree with you. It was ranked number 2, with only ClickBank itself at number one. Today it is ranked ... wait for it ... number 426. It is beaten out of sight by sites which have nothing to do with ClickBank but happen to mention that keyword once. I asked a search engine expert about this and he suggested that it was due to keyword density, in other words too many mentions of the word ClickBank. Well that has to be the case - the site is after all a 'Complete Guide to ClickBank' His advice - try replacing the word ClickBank occasionally e. g. use 'CB'. No way. That was the last straw and became the inspiration for me to develop a revolutionary approach to getting traffic. It led to me being called 'The Guru who said goodbye to Google' in the marketing forums. And this new approach ? It uses some of the fundamental pillars of Internet marketing that you already know - techniques which will never become obsolete. But they are combined together in a new way and with a viral twist that you won't have seen before. It includes giving out free information in a certain way and I show you how exactly in my book, The Ultimate SuperTip. And just to illustrate the principle: the book is free and you can reproduce this article and change the URL to point to your own rebranded version. For more information go to clickaudit/goto/?50558 and read the 31-page FREE ebook that's Sweeping the Internet!

Gain weight fast muscle with high frequency pt.1

It seems that when it comes to designing bodybuilding programs to gain weight and build muscle mass, all of the attention is placed on the amount of sets, reps, and exercises to perform. Yes, these are big factors to consider when following a workout routine. However, there's still one factor left out of the equation most of the time....and it's a big one, if not the biggest! I'm talking about training frequency......the amount of times you train the same muscle group within a specific amount of time (usually per week). 99% of all weight training routines now-a-days recommend that you train a muscle once a week. That means that if you trained your chest on Monday you don't train it again until next Monday. The basis for this is that if you train a specific muscle intensely you must give it 5-6 days of complete rest in order for enough time to have gone by to allow that muscle group to repair, recover, and grow from the workout. Funny, because I used believe this as well. When you look at bodybuilding history, this whole "train a muscle only once a week" philosophy hasn't been around since day one. No. Decades ago, back in the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's the majority of bodybuilders trained each muscle way more than just once a week. They would train each muscle several times per week, with a higher amount of volume and frequency (but we're just going to focus on frequency in this article). And what's interesting about this is that many feel today that the physiques of those decades are of much higher quality than those of today. Sure, individuals like Mike Mentzer popularized cutting back drastically on training frequency, but it really wasn't until the mid-80's and 90's that training a muscle only once per week became the norm in bodybuilding circles. However, since the masses began to cut down training a muscle to just once per week, have we seen major progress in people's muscular development and muscle weight gain??? Absolutely not! Because we've heard and read it thousands of times over the past 2 decades we all tend to think that training a muscle more than once a week will surely lead to overtraining, especially if you don't use anabolic steroids. But is this really the case? Before we get into specifics as to the optimum training frequency to build the most amount of muscle mass at the quickest rate without overtraining or burning out, we need to see if in fact it's true that any more than once every week or once every 5-6 days would lead to the over-taxing of muscle group. Take a real close look at the medical references cited in articles that recommend to only train a muscle once a week ("infrequently", as the proponents say). Every time a study is mentioned that supposedly had several groups of individuals training, one training less than the other, whenever they give the results of those groups, it is always tracking who gained more strength.........NOT who gained more weight and muscle size. There's a huge difference between the two.....gaining strength or building size. And no, the two don't go hand in hand (more on this in a future article). Sure, these studies may prove that training "infrequently" may be more efficient for building muscular strength (...and that in itself isn't really true either, as I'll also write about later on), but it doesn't prove that it is more efficient for building size....growth. The problem with evaluating what most articles / weight training routines recommend is that they are all going off of the pursuit of strength instead of size. It seems to them that as long as you are gaining strength, then you must be gaining size. Right??? Hah! What a joke. Anyone that has ever worked out for a significant amount of time knows that you can get stronger and stronger every week, yet still look the same in the mirror. So, first off in our "optimal frequency evalulation" is that we cannot go off of any of these scientific studies, nor can we conclude that just because training a muscle once a week may help you get stronger it will also make you bigger. Real life experience has proven time and time again that this isn't how it works in the "real world". Be looking out for part 2 of this article, as we'll go deeper into this very imporant topic for all of us looking to gain muscle weight and build mass.

A step by step look at aluminum casting

Aluminum casting begins with an idea, an idea for a new aluminum product. The person who has visualized the product, one that can be made from aluminum, must share his or her idea. The idea creator develops a sample product or a drawing, one that makes clear his or her conceptualized product. Yet before any factory begins to make aluminum castings, the conceptualized product must be evaluated. Does it meet the quality standards recognized by the aluminum industry? Can it be manufactured using available technology? What tools and machines are needed to make the conceptualized product? After an evaluation of the conceptualized product, industry experts might offer some suggestions. They might propose changes that would facilitate manufacture of the conceived product. They might point out ways that the proposed product could be made more functional. They might suggest changes that could lower production costs. Before moving on to the next step, the idea creator and the evaluators put their heads together. They introduce into future plans whatever changes all see as necessary. Each of those changes is then introduced into a software program. In the 21st Century, those who take part in the aluminum casting process rely on information obtained by using an iron mold. That mold is made through dependence on computerized numeric control (CNC). A CNC program guides the machinery that makes the iron mold. Iron, a stable and long, lasting metal, holds the aluminum used in the first casting. Following that casting the customer examines the product obtained from the mold. If the customer approves of the sample coming from the first casting, then, full-scale aluminum casting is ready to commence. Factory workers pour a coating into the iron mold. That coating reduces the wear on the mold. The coating prepares the mold for a long sequence of aluminum casting. Each round in the long sequence of aluminum castings initiates with the melting of an aluminum alloy. The alloy is exposed to temperatures of 1300 degrees Fahrenheit. The alloy melts, and workers ladle the molten metal into the iron mold. After the iron mold can hold no more liquid, the molten metal is allowed to cool. Once the metal and mold have cooled, the iron cast is removed. At that point, finishing work on the caste aluminum commences. Sometimes, the product of an aluminum casting must undergo debarring. Sometimes it must undergo sanding or grinding. Sometimes the caste aluminum becomes the focus of plating or powder coating. In the end, the aluminum casting serves as the key step in the formation of a usable product. It is a product that began in the mind of a free-thinking man or woman. It is a product that has the qualities industry experts viewed as fundamental to the product’s function. Because the aluminum product was caste from an iron mold, it can be re-caste again and again. The desirable features in the finished product can be enjoyed by many. Those features can be reproduced over and over, using the aluminum casting process.

Take control of your health

In large part, you’re in control of your health, not your doctor. And taking control of your health doesn’t really depend on whether or not you have medical conditions. Taking control means developing habits and discipline. The most important thing you can do is educate yourself. Learn about your health problems and how you can take care of your body. What do the latest studies say? The Internet is an excellent place to research health issues. Sometimes just finding different ways of doing things can help. Now, take the time to decide what your health goals for the next year will be. Write the goal(s) down. Some examples of goals might be: - to stop yo-yo dieting and focus on get healthier. - to start exercising regularly. - to move toward my perfect weight. - to find alternative ways to control diabetes. Then list specific ways you can accomplish these goals. For instance, try a new healthy dinner recipe once a week, go to the gym five days a week, or research nutrition on the Internet 10 minutes a day. Work on your mind and thought patterns. You have to believe that you can become healthy and reach your ideal weight before you will be able to do so. Learning to accept what you can’t change, but striving to change what you can, is key. A large part of succeeding in health improvement is being comfortable with yourself to begin with. Find time to do something good to reward yourself for making this commitment to improve your health. Reward yourself each week as you find yourself accomplishing your goals. If you have another person to work with, you will be more successful in meeting your health goals. This partner should be someone you can trust to share your feelings with. It helps to have a partner for accountability. We work harder when we know someone is watching us and holding us accountable. A good partner also helps us stay realistic in our goals and challenges us to grow. Try to find someone who will encourage you in the down times and celebrate your successes with you as you accomplish your goals. And of course you need to be that kind of a partner to your friend in return. You might consider forming an informal support group with some of your friends or acquaintances. People who belong to a group with mutual interests and a shared purpose accomplish more. A group might get together weekly or monthly and discuss progress or concerns and help encourage each other. Sometimes all a person might need is another opinion or just a little encouragement to help them get past a place where they are having problems. Even if you are doing great, perhaps you could be of help to someone else who is struggling. Communication is important when putting together a group. Set up a regular time and method to report progress to each other and stick to it. Set realistic benchmarks to monitor your progress. Reward yourselves for your effort. Do something fun as a group once in a while. There can be great rewards in working with others toward common goals. It makes the journey more enjoyable as well as more productive.

A christmas history lesson

The Twelve Days of Christmas is one of the most famous Christmas carols ever written. It has been sung for a great many years, and is known the world over. To most it is a delightful hymn, but it was originally created with a very serious intent. In England between the years of 1558 and 1829, it was illegal to practice Catholicism in public or private. It was essentially a crime to be Catholic in England during those years. The Twelve Days of Christmas was written to help preserve the traditions of the Catholic faith during the years that Catholicism was banned in England. The song is steeped in symbolism, and the fact that it is so well known throughout the world is a testament to the faith of the followers of the Catholic doctrine. The symbols contained in the song are as follows: 1st verse – "True Love" refers to God. 2nd verse – "2 Turtle Doves" refers to the Old and New Testaments. 3rd verse – "3 French Hens" refers to Faith, Hope, and Charity. 4th verse – "4 Calling Birds" refers to the Four Gospels or the Four Evangelists. 5th verse – "5 Golden Rings" refers to the first five Books of the Old Testament. 6th verse – "6 Geese-a-laying" refers to the six days of creation. 7th verse – "7 Swans-a-swimming" refers to the seven sacraments. 8th verse – "8 Maids-a-milking" refers to the eight beatitudes. 9th verse – "9 Ladies dancing" refers to the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit. 10th verse – "10 Lords-a-leaping" refers to the Ten Commandments. 11th verse – "11 Pipers piping" refers to the eleven faithful apostles. 12th verse – "12 Drummers drumming" refers to the twelve points of the Apostle’s creed. I love this song. It is, by far, my favorite Christmas carol. I had no idea about the symbols contained in the song, until I googled the song lyrics one afternoon. I find it very interesting that a song we all know so well could contain so many hidden meanings. I would never have guessed that it was anything more than lovely Christmas carol. It’s always nice to learn something new, especially about the wonderful celebration of Christmas. I hope you learned something, too. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Air purifier and cleaners what s in it for you

You are probably getting annoyed. And that’s because there is so much talk about air purifier and cleaners going around you that you just can’t understand what the big deal is all about. Here is just another well marketed home appliance getting more than its fair share of airtime and trying to convince well-meaning people with their hard earned money. Air purifier and cleaners! What a waste! You think so? Think again! For air purifiers and cleaners hold the key to completely change the way you have viewed and lived your life and the life around you. Imagine a life of breathing air as pure as possible, giving your body the best intake it can ever have and leading a superior lifestyle of health-consciousness? Air purifiers and cleaners make all this possible for you and more. Enough said about how these technological marvels can be good, let’s get down to why you need any of these and what they can do for you. In a documented study by a government body in the US, it was found that indoor levels of pollution are typically 2-5 times more than the outdoors (because of spatial density) which is a source of concern as most people spend a significant part of the life indoors than in the outdoors. Pollutants or the “bad-particles” at your home could be 8-10 times higher in concentration than it is outside your front door. And that fact doesn’t go down too well with our friendly neighborhood air purifier and cleaners. Especially so for without the air purifier and cleaners, the pollution in the air manifests itself in our bodies as allergies to smoke, dust, fumes, pollen, dander, mites and host of other such particulate matter. Does indoor fatigue, sinus irritations, sneezing bouts, sleep disorders all sound too familiar to you? That’s what can happen and a lot more in the absence of air purifier and cleaners. Essentially, the core of this article is to convey just one piece of information to you – that the use of air purifier and cleaners is a win-win situation for the user, simply because you can’t put a price tag to the value of a healthy life or living conditions. If for the cost of a few dollars, air purifiers and cleaners can make you enjoy every living moment you spend under its observant clean influence, then it’s almost a no-brainer in making a decision of choosing to use one. And after that what remains is only a choice of the type of air purifier and cleaners that you had like to use. Remember one thing; nothing can ever be too expensive for granting yourself a cleaner healthier life. For yourself and for your family! Wish you all the best!

Re formatting your personal computer

As a personal computer is used it becomes more and more overworked and overloaded. It has less storage space, picks up spyware and viruses which ultimately slows down the performance of the computer. If nothing else can be done a last resort is re-formatting the computer. Re-formatting a computer is quite simple with Microsoft Windows XP. The first step is setting your computer to boot from the CD-ROM. This can be done in the BIOS. For most mother-boards, pressing delete while the machine is booting will get you into the BIOS menu. There you simply need to navigate to the “boot sequence” and set the first boot device to the CD-ROM. Once this is done you can put your Windows XP CD in and restart the machine. This will bring you to the Microsoft menu. Here you can choose how you want to proceed with your installation. A good piece of advice would be to back everything up before you proceed with the format. Formatting a computer deletes everything off the hard drive so if you have any music or documents that you need to preserve back them up onto an external hard drive or a CD before you go ahead. The first option is installing Windows again alongside the existing operating system. This is not the option we want but would not be recommended none the less. You need to choose the format option. With Windows XP you can choose either quick format or regular format. With a 120gb drive a quick format will take about 10 minutes while a regular format can take up to an hour. Quick format would be the preferable option. Once you click format all you have to do is wait. Once the format is complete you need to go through the steps of installing Windows. Once this is done your computer will be refreshed and as fast as the day you bought it home from the shops.

Information on the iphone battery

When it comes to understanding the revolutionary new iPhone device, one of the most important parts of all that you should be aware of is the iPhone battery. There are lots of different things that are important to know regarding the battery of the iPhone, so that you can be informed and understand about it. Common Questions and Answers One of the most commonly asked questions about the iPhone battery is whether it is covered by a warranty and the answer is yes, it is, and not only that but you can also extend the warranty if you want to two years with AppleCare Protection Plan for iPhone. The iPhone battery is not disposable and is designed to last for a very long time, years in fact as long as it is properly taken care of in the meantime. In fact, Apple is consistently ranked number one in terms of product quality and support by various leading consumer groups around the world. Over time however, as with almost any other related device, the iPhone battery will begin to progressively degrade, as over time the battery will simply not be able to hold the same amount of charge as it did when it was new. This is true of all lithium ion batteries, and there is a very easy solution to this problem – buy a new battery. This is not a huge deal, because you will only have to buy a battery once you notice a serious decrease in efficiency of the iPhone battery, which will typically be around a year or so of average use of the device. Not only that, but the batteries are usually very affordable so it is definitely not a purchase that you are going to have to dread or worry about shelling out a lot of money for. If you are really concerned about getting the best out of your iPhone battery, then you should know that there are a few different things you can do here. One is to keep a regular and proper charging pattern, and it is also generally recommended that you store lithium ion batteries at about 40% charge. If you know that you will be storing your iPhone for an extended period of time somewhere, then the best idea here is to store it in a cool place. As long as you take proper care of your iPhone battery and other iPhone parts, it will last you a really long time and work effectively and efficiently. the-iphone. biz/

Why you should choose debt consolidation

: If debt is currently an issue in your life, debt consolidation really can save you from the stress of bills, debt collectors, and the nagging thoughts of foreclosure or even bankruptcy. Debt consolidation can drastically change your life within weeks, months, or years depending on your current debt situation. Consolidating your debts will allow you to live with peace of mind that you are taking care of your financial obligations while continuing to live a happy life.Debt consolidation is taking all of your bills and fitting them into one monthly payment. Fitting all your bills into one payment also means one interest rate, which will limit the amount you pay out every month, saving you a lot of money in the long run. Debt consolidation also makes paying off multiple debts easier because the monthly payments can be lowered when you take away insane interest rates. The average debtor pays more interest every month than they do on the actual principal balance of their debt! Eliminating the sky-high interest rates is a good start to getting your debts paid, without going completely broke. Many people assume when they can’t pay the bills it’s time to just throw up their hands and consider drastic actions such as foreclosure, repossession and bankruptcy. While there are some extreme cases where bankruptcy would be the best option, foreclosure is almost always avoidable as is repossession. Banks, car dealerships, mortgage companies, and creditors don’t like to have to take back property or write off your debts, they would rather work with you on debt consolidation so that they can get back what they are owed and you can go on your way with your credit still in tact. Bankruptcy, repossession, and foreclosure are not easy outs when it comes to debts; in fact, they are choices that will continue to affect you for a long, long time. Consider debt consolidation before making any hasty decisions.Debt consolidation on your own can be tricky, or downright impossible depending on your credit situation. Luckily, there are debt consolidation companies waiting to help people who are in over their head, just like you! Debt consolidation companies will take your credit report and any unreported debts that you can give them and work out a payment plan for you. These debt consolidation companies often contact each company and strike a deal to lower or get rid of the interest and even split the balance of the amount due. Obviously, lowering or getting rid of interest and part of each debt will limit what you spend each month, enabling you to actually pay the bill. What’s the catch with this type of debt consolidation? Well, there really isn’t one. Yes, this is a business and the consolidator does make money because while he takes away the interest that each company is charging, he will charge you interest or a percentage of what you owe. Doesn’t seem fair? It is! It works out better for you, because even though you are still paying interest it’s just one interest payment for all the debts you currently hold. So, instead of paying twenty seven percent to ten companies you’ll pay twenty percent to one company. So, you go from having multiple payments and interest rates to just one payment for all the bills and one interest rate. It works! If you follow the plan, and make your monthly payments debt consolidation will soon have your credit report looking much better than it does right now.You may think that you have so much debt you cannot possibly afford to repay even on a debt consolidation plan. You’d be surprised what these companies can get done on your behalf. And, if your debt is that outstanding you can work through the process slowly, a few debts at a time. There is nothing wrong with the process taking a while, as long as you keep up with the process and intend to actually pay off your debts. Getting your credit where it should be does take time, but it’s worth it. Your credit is your buying power, and each payment you make gets you closer to having more of it.Worried that the companies you are dealing with won’t work with a debt consolidation company? You’d be surprised. Yes, the companies will loose a little bit of money compared to if you showed up with cash to repay the debt tomorrow, but in the long run it’s better for them to take a debt consolidation deal than not. Most companies figure they’d rather get a portion of your debt back and settle the deal than not get anything back at all. Getting seventy five percent of your debt back is more reasonable to them than to keep paying debt collectors to contact you and try to get the money back. All in all, any money is worth striking a deal over, and that is why a debt consolidation company can really get you where you need to be. They are professionals and they know how to get companies to agree to their terms.Debt consolidation companies will usually work with you to get your debts paid off within a reasonable monthly payment. Each month you’ll make just one payment, reducing the time and stress of paying the bill, and each month you’ll be a step closer to financial freedom. Paying off your debts, through debt consolidation or otherwise will take a weight off your back that you may not even realize is there. No one wants to have unpaid debts, but sometimes life gets in the way and it happens. It happens to the best of us. But, don’t be too proud to consolidate those debts and get back on the right track. Open up your local phone book, or get online and find a debt consolidation service in your area. Contact a debt consolidator not with shame, but with pride, because you are stepping up to do the right thing.

Central air conditioners review

Heat and humidity can certainly bring down productivity in the workplace. You can make conditions more comfortable for work by installing central air conditioners if the work area is large, in which case one small air conditioner would not be enough. So, if you wish to cool the entire house or the office you need to install central air conditioners. Normally central air conditioners works on the principle of transferring heat from one station to the other with the help of a transporting media which is a refrigerant commonly known as Freon. There are two parts in central air conditioners as it is a split system. One part is the air handler which is placed inside the home and the other part is the condensing unit which is located outdoors. In order to cool the inside of your home, the central air conditioners remove the heat from the air inside and transfer it to the air outside. The indoor part of the system contains a refrigerant coil across which the indoor air is passed and then it is released outside. This process brings down the temperature inside to the desired level as per the thermostat setting. Useful hints for buying central air conditioners You should choose the system that would suit your local climate and the total cooling load. You can either go in for evaporative coolers that are useful in hot and arid regions such as the southwest or you can choose the compressor-driven central air conditioners. You will also have to work out the size of the system needed. You should look for a SEER rating higher than 12.0 when you are looking for a central air conditioner. If you have ducts for an existing forced-air heating system, the central air conditioner system could be linked to these ducts, depending upon their size and the relative heating and cooling loads of your home. You can take the advice of a good HVAC contractor in this regard. For efficient operation of a central air conditioner, proper sizing and installation are essential. It will be difficult to regulate humidity with too large a unit and if the unit is too small, you might not get adequate cooling on very hot days. Efficiency can come down with improper unit location, lack of duct insulation, improper duct sealing, and incorrect refrigerant charge. Important aspects which should be considered while buying a central air conditioner are: provision of a fan-only switch, a filter check-light and an automatic-delay fan switch. You should also choose a central air conditioner that does not make too much noise. If the outdoor (compressor) unit of the central air conditioners needs to be replaced, you should find one, which will be compatible with the existing indoor (blower coil) unit. An old blower coil would not be suitable for a highly efficient outdoor unit. It is necessary to get an electrician to assess your home's electrical supply such as the voltage and amperage capacity before installing central air conditioners, as it needs a constant 230-volt circuit and 20 to 50 amps of power.

A history of sports cars

What defines the term sports car and why are we so fascinated with them. Is it simply the flowing curves of the body design, the massive power output of the high revving engines or could it even be the distinctive throaty musical note of the exhaust pipes. Everyone will have a different opinion on what they think makes sports cars special and for the reasons why we love them so much. Even people who say they are impractical or unnecessary cannot help but to turn and look when one drives past displaying its beautiful contours hinting at the power hidden under the perfectly painted panels. Since the development of motorised vehicles a small select group of individuals have always had the undying fascination of designing and building them bigger, more powerful and faster than they either needed to be or really should be with any regard to safety. This was no different with the motor car industry, from its relative simple and sluggish beginnings the car quickly developed into a very useful mode of transport and working tool. For some this new way to transport us around turned into an obsession of power and speed and welcomed the age of the racing cars and sports cars. To begin with motor vehicles were built for more functional than aesthetically pleasing reasons and their ability to carry both people and heavy loads is what drove the designers and manufacturers forward. Humans though have an eye for beauty and a thirst for power and speed, combining these attributes the birth of the sports cars was inevitable. As new developments occurred in the early motor industry a small number of designers, builders and drivers pushed the motor car to its limits on race tracks to test its abilities against other manufacturers vehicles. These races fuelled the next generation of cars and drivers. As engines became more powerful the ability to race these machines began to push the designs and needs to new levels this quite often was at the expense of someone's life. Big powerful engines were placed into fragile frames and pushed to the limit often with dire consequences to drivers and spectators. But humans have a need to go faster and faster and this drove these brave and quite often reckless early pioneers to design better and more powerful machines and this began the start of the new age of the modern motor car. Safety was usually an after thought if it came up at all, the main focus was pushing the machines and drivers to their limits and beyond if possible. The engines power output quickly out grew the motor cars ability to handle these increases and the designers had to rethink the chassis and suspensions limitations. As with in the aircraft industry the designs of planes and engines regularly changed along with the abilities and reliability of the aircraft, the motor cars began to evolve along the same lines with new ideas and breakthroughs in technologies incorporating aerodynamics to help reduce drag and stronger building materials for chassis and bodywork. Developing test vehicles purely for racing was the beginning of what we now class as the sports car. After the Second World War a new breed of sports car began to emerge. The once very high-priced and hard to obtain race bred cars that only the most wealthy and enthusiastic owners could secure began to evolve into a more accessible vehicle with the additional comforts and road functionalities, and what was even more important, a more affordable price tag making them more accessible to the average owner and driver. The sports cars had taken their first steps from the exclusive domain to main stream availability. Over the next few years as advancements were made on and off the racing circuit designs began their slow transformation into the popular modern shapes of today's models. Many famous names have added their own distinctions to the sports car moulds and most can be easily identified by pure shape alone even today.

Productive and positive potty training

Productive and Positive Potty Training Your child's showing all the signs of being ready to potty train. That's great! But now, where do you start? Explain to your toddler that going potty is a normal process of life and everyone does it, even animals. Talk with them about the toilet, a special place where they can potty just like the big kids. Tell him how the potty works and let him try flushing himself. Explain that they will be wearing underwear and not diapers. Find some educational and entertaining videos of their favorite characters learning to go potty. Be sure to involve other family members in the process and emphasize the importance of consistency during this process. Make a special trip to the store and purchase new underwear with your toddler. Let them have a voice in what you get. The underwear will have much more significance if your toddler helped choose them. Overalls, pants with lots of buttons, snaps or zips, tight or restrictive clothing and oversized shirts will all be an obstacle to your child during this process. Put these kinds of clothes away for the time being. Decide whether or not you're going to use pull-ups, training pants or regular underwear and try to stick with this decision so your child has consistency and isn't confused. Think about whether or not you want to use rewards or not. Figure out a strategy on how to handle potty issues when you're away from home. If your child is in child care, ask your provider for their advice and make sure there aren't any hard and fast rules the center or caregiver has in place that may be an issue. Let them know that you're going to start and enlist their help with the process. Praise your child for each successful trip to the potty, and comfort them when accidents happen and try to remain patient and calm when they do. Avoid using candy or other treats as reinforcement. Let them know that it will take a while to get the hang of using the potty, and encourage and praise each attempt they make. With consistency, encouragement and praise, they'll soon be completely trained.

If you know where you would like to camp, city and state wise, you may want to think about incorporating that information into your standard internet search. Your standard internet search will likely connect you to the online websites of campground parks. Many campground parks have detailed information on their online websites, like park maps, as well as pictures. You may also find the cost of renting a campsite on their website. It is also likely that you will come across a detailed list on onsite activities that you and your camping party may be able to participate in. You can also find a campground park to camp at by keeping your eyes open at all times. Some of the greatest campgrounds are discovered purely by accident. Whenever you are out driving, you may want to always be on the lookout for campground parks. Many of these parks are advertised in plain site. You may want to think about stopping and requesting information or using the internet to research the park in question when you get home. As outlined above, there are a number of different ways that you can go about finding a campground park to camp at. As a reminder though, you will want to try and do more than just find a campground park. You will want to make sure that you take the time to find and choose the one that is best for you and your camping party.

Zinc supplements for your body

Zinc Supplements For Your Body Zinc supplements provide a much needed mineral that is needed by each and every cell in your body. The body is unable to produce zinc on it’s own, which is why we need to makes sure we eat enough food that contains the mineral, drink enough water, or use the proper supplements that will give our cells the zinc they need. Zinc is very important, as it plays a crucial role with hundreds of processes in the human body. The most prominent functions include support of the immune system, joints, tissues, along with aiding in cell growth. Zinc supplements have also been proven to eliminate sexual dysfunction, boost sexual function, aid in the health of the hair, and help with skin wound healing. No matter how you look at it, zinc plays an important role in the function of most of our senses, which includes the ability to taste, smell, and also sight. Research has indicated that zinc can counter vision loss in the event of macular degeneration. A deficiency of zinc on the other hand can lead to dulling of the taste buds, along with the ability to detect scent. Although zinc is an essential vitamin for our bodies, taking too much of it can be a bad thing. Research has proven that taking more than 100 mg daily for an extended period can cause damage in the immune system. Older folks on the other hand, can benefit from taking zinc if they have a deficiency. The supplement can actually help older people bring their intake back up to the levels they should be at. When taking zinc supplements, you should always remember that zinc can indeed interfere with your absorption of copper. For this reason, a lot of experts recommend that they should be taken together. Anyone who takes a zinc supplement should take it as part of a well balanced diet, to ensure that other vitamins and minerals work together with the zinc. With most dietary supplements in the U. S. being unregulated, you should always choose a manufacturer who is GMP compliant. Manufacturers that are GMP compliant will always follow the manufacturing standards of zinc, in order to minimize and quite possibly eliminate the risk of contaminants that you could be getting from the supplement. If you choose your supplement wisely, you shouldn’t have to worry about any problems. You can buy zinc supplements at GNC, online, or other nutrition stores. It isn’t expensive either, which makes it a welcome edition to your diet. You should always consult with your doctor if you suspect that you have a zinc deficiency, so that he or she can tell you exactly how much zinc you need on a daily basis. This way, if you aren’t getting enough in your normal diet - you can get the supplements you need. (word count 469)

Nokialand

I guess you havenґt heard of NokiaLand before? The naming NokiaLand has to do with the worlds big-gest handset manufacturer Nokia and Finland, the country it comes from. Nokia Nokia has not always been a world leader in cell phones, digital technologies, telecommunications networks, wireless data solutions and high tech gadgets like the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet. Some 100 years ago the company was manufacturing paper, toilet paper, galoshes, tires and raincoats. Finland Thanks to Nokia Finland has become one of the fastest-growing and most prosperous economies in Europe. And Nokia phones have a dominant market position on its home market. This is why Finland is sometimes referred to as NokiaLand. In the 1980s Finland was best known for its paper and pulp industries and long dark winters. At the same time Nokia made the decision to shift its company focus from timber, tires, and rubber boots to mobile phones. Good move - today the company sells more phones than any other company in the world. The Nokia success story had an enormous impact on the finnish economy. Nokia increased the finnish GDP by more than 1.5 percent in 1999 alone. In 2004 Nokia's share of the Finnish GDP was 3.5 percent and accounted for almost a quarter of Finnish exports in 2003. Last year more than 20 000 people were employed by Nokia in Finland which is roughly 2 percent of the people in the Finnish business sector. Also several tiny companies such as Perlos have grown into large ones as Nokia subcontractors. As Nokiaґs profits grew, the Nokia share price increased and this also created a large number of new very rich households in NokiaLand – thanks to Nokia. The President Believe it or not there was a secret plan some 5 years ago in NokiaLand to put Jorma Ollila, CEO of Nokia as president of Finland. This did not work out, but if it had we surely would have had our NokiaLand. The story was revealed when Sauli Niinistц published his memoirs this summer. He writes that he had asked Jorma Ollila, the chief executive of Nokia, to run for president in the 2000 presidential election. According to Mr Niinistц, Mr Ollila pondered over the matter when Niinistц made him the offer in the spring of 1999. As we all know Mr Ollila didnґt go for it!

Wikipedia and the nofollow controversy

If you are not involved in the search engine optimization community, January 21st, 2007 probably held no significance for you. However, if you are a search engine marketer or SEO, you probably remember January 21st as the day that Wikipedia died. To the untrained eye, Wikipedia is exactly the same today as it was six months ago. But, once you dig below the surface and take a look, you can see one difference that has had an impact on the world of search engine optimization: NOFOLLOW. In the words of Matt Cutts, "rel="nofollow" attribute is an easy way for a web site to tell search engines that the web site can’t or doesn’t want to vouch for a link." Before January 21st, NOFOLLOW was mainly used for blog comments. This helped blog owners cut down on comment spam. NOFOLLOW was also used in some situations to denote a paid link, but this is a whole other controversy that will have to be saved for a different article. The reason that Wikipedia’s adoption of NOFOLLOW on every single outgoing link caused such a stir is because many people viewed it as the most hypocritical decision that Wikipedia could have made. The reason that Wikipedia has become so popular and performs so well in the SERPs is that bloggers and web site owners commonly reference Wikipedia. When they do this, they provide a link back to Wikipedia. Every time that this process occurs, Wikipedia gains a little more popularity in the search engines. When Wikipedia decided to implement the NOFOLLOW tag, they are telling the search engines that although we reference a web site and may use content from it in our article, we do not want you to give it any credit. It is for this reason that many have started to view Wikipedia as a massive hypocrisy. Although NOFOLLOW has probably cut down on the amount of spam Wikipedia has to combat, but as many others have stated, Wikipedia could have chosen a different method for fighting spam that did not punish quality web sites which deserve to be recognized by Wikipedia.

Never shovel snow snow again

A heated driveway is a type of system that clears the snow and ice from a driveway or walkway so people who are moving across it will be safe from slipping, falling and possibly injuring themselves on dangerous surfaces. This type of system has many benefits including time, money and liability considerations. It can be used for both residential and commercial applications and is becoming a very popular choice for home owners and business owners alike. A heated driveway is easy to install and can also be retro fitted on existing surfaces for home owners or business owners who are considering this type of solution for their surfaces that are already built. A heated driveway can be used for residential areas. Homeowners spend a lot of money each year on costs associated with clearing their driveways and walkways. If a homeowner wants to do it as inexpensively as possible, they will purchase shovels. Most heavy duty shovels are not cheap to begin with and they often need to be replaced with time. Some homeowners opt for more elaborate systems using snow blowers designed for residential purposes. A snow blower for residential can be purchased for several hundred dollars to several thousand dollars. They are very expensive and also need to be maintained similarly to a lawn mower or other type of home maintenance machinery. The expense of this can add up substantially over the years. Regardless of whether you choose a snow blower or a shovel, you will still have to use the device. This generally means donning all our winter clothes including hat, goulashes, thick socks, scarf, and gloves and layered clothing. When going out to clear the snow, it will take some time to complete it and because you will be trudging through the snow you are still in danger of slipping in falling yourself. If you are clearing the snow to be able to go to work in the morning, you will have to wake up a lot earlier and work first thing in the morning to ensure you can easily and safely get your car down the driveway and into the street. The effort taken is highly inconvenient. Imagine, instead, getting up in the morning, having a cup of coffee and driving out of your perfectly clear driveway with no worries or effort on your part. Does this sound too good to be true? It is not. You can get this by adding a heated driveway to your home. Businesses can also benefit from a heated driveway system. These can be installed in stores, hotels, train stations, bus stations and airports. Any business that has foot or vehicle traffic can benefit from a heated driveway system. If there are loading docks or wheelchair access ramps, the heated driveway can benefit these areas as well. In order for a business to make money it needs customers. If a customer is unable to access the location, they will not be able to patronize the business. This will reduce profits and leave a negative impression on the business for customers, possibly affecting repeat business. To further reduce profits, many businesses have to either hire a service or a work crew to monitor areas for snow and ice. The costs associated with this can be very expensive and might not keep the areas as free as necessary in a timely manner. Some places will use services that come in the morning but that does not account for snow fall that may occur throughout the day. In essence, the money that was spent was wasted since there is still snow on the ground. Liability is also a consideration for businesses when thinking about the option of a heated driveway. People will tend to sue businesses before individuals because they feel a business has deeper pockets. If a court awards punitive damages because they feel the business was negligent in providing a safe environment, this can cause thousands and even millions of dollars to the company. It will also increase the rates of liability insurance and may possibly prevent that insurance from being renewed. If you own a business, you are aware of this and probably try to do everything possible to minimize this risk. A heated driveway system will allow your areas to be clear from ice and snow twenty four hours per day, seven days per week. The snow will melt as soon as it falls. A heated driveway can be installed on new surfaces or existing surfaces. It is automatic and will shut itself off and turn itself on based on the temperature and moisture levels that are detected. A heated driveway will add convenience, reduce liability and save on labor costs. The initial investment will be paid off and pay for itself in a matter of a few years.

The myth of cyber monday

“Cyber Monday” is the Monday after Thanksgiving and is commonly reported to be the start of the online holiday shopping season or the biggest online shopping day of the year, both of which are untrue. The theory purports that consumers do a great deal of their real world shopping on “Black Friday” (another myth about the Friday after Thanksgiving) and when they return to work on Monday, they start their online shopping. The origin of the term is unclear; probably a media fabrication in their attempt to create a story where one didn’t exist. Sure, more and more of our holiday shopping is moving online and there is definitely a online holiday shopping season, but the start of the season is not as clearly defined as the media would like. They already have a term and day, Black Friday, to describe the start of the holiday shopping season, so they should also have the same for the online shopping season, right? In their quest for the story, the media created Cyber Monday. In reality, there is no single day that kicks off the season. Online shopping ramps up from the middle/end of November and runs through about a week before Christmas. The Monday after Thanksgiving was convenient and made more sense years ago when consumers didn’t have high speed internet access at home. The rational for this is that consumers didn’t want to shop on a slow speed dial-up connection at home, so they waited until they could use their employer’s high speed connection. Now that most consumers have a high speed connection, this rational makes less sense. It is probably more likely that after a big Thanksgiving dinner, consumers will get online and get a head start on their online shopping instead of waiting until Monday when they need to get caught up on their work after the four day layoff. The trend in consumer behavior has also been to ease into the holiday shopping season. We can measure this with the appearance of holiday decorations and merchandise appearing earlier and earlier every year. You can now find some Christmas dйcor before Halloween in some stores. It wouldn’t be there if consumers weren’t buying it. The same goes online as we ease into the holiday season as we can now find holiday dйcor year round online. As far as the biggest online shopping day goes, that occurs between one and two weeks before Christmas as most of us procrastinate, waiting as long as possible. In our neighborhood stores, the biggest shopping day is usually the last Saturday before Christmas. Our deadline for completing our shopping is the last day that we can have something shipped so that it arrives before Christmas, about a week before. That deadline isn’t that important either as we can always get a last minute gift card which is also prolonging the holiday shopping season as more of our shopping occurs after Christmas when we have those gift cards in hand. Hopefully the media will realize that “Cyber Monday” doesn’t really exist and we won’t be hearing all about it this year.

Bankrupcy tips some rebounding tips after bankruptcy part 1

So you have filed for bankruptcy. What’s the next step? At first blush, you are full of ideas on how you are getting a fresh start. You have freed yourself from almost all of your debts and you are, for all intents and purposes (financially, at least), a new person. But note that by filing for bankrupcy, you had to pay a dear price. In exchange for a discharge of your debts and stopping your creditors from pursuing any collection actions against you, your credit rating took the brunt of the blow. Considering how your credit rating was probably not all that great to begin with, this recent hit is not going to be an easy one to recover from. Let’s start with the bad news: • The bankruptcy will stay on your credit report for up to 10 years. • To lenders, you would seem a bad risk because you have legally written off at least some of your past debts. • As a consequence, you may not be able to get a loan or a credit card for some time after the bankruptcy. • And if you do get lucky and get approved for credit, the interest rates and fees attached will be rather punishing. The silver lining? Think positive. It is good that you are restricted from getting new credit. Credits were what you got bankrupt in the first place. They will have no difficulty getting you in that place...again. Now, for the rebounding tips to help you climb back up from the pits of bankruptcy: Lead a Frugal Lifestyle: Common sense dictates that you lead a simpler lifestyle properly slimmed-down, no frills attached. In other words, be frugal. If you filed under Chapter 13, it means that you have signed up for a repayment plan to pay off some of your debts. The purpose of Chapter 13 is to allow debt reorganization so that you can continue holding on to your properties and other assets in exchange for obliging yourself to pay your debts for a certain number of years. The bottom line, therefore, is that you are still in debt, albeit, you may only pay a portion of the total debt to your creditors. The usual period given by bankruptcy courts with which you can pay off your debts is within three to five years. During this time, the court allows you only a set amount to live on while the court-appointed trustee divides the rest among your creditors each month. What does this mean to you? As we earlier said, it means a no-frills lifestyle. No luxuries whatsoever, except those exempted under the law. And sometimes, just sometimes, it may also mean changing your basic expenses, such as how much you pay for shelter and groceries every month. You may even have to move to a cheaper apartment or a more low-end neighborhood just so you can get by with the amount the court allows you. Suffice to say that getting new credit will be a difficult feat, if not downright impossible. So you can forget about getting a new credit card or a car loan. Or at least, getting it the easy way. Besides, you can’t take on a new debt without the court’s permission anyway, and getting that means adding an awful lot of complexity in your life. So how do you go about with barely anything to tide you over through the hard times ahead? It’s simple really – make a budget. Better yet, keep a close watch on your expenses for three months and make a budget based on any observations you have made on your spending habits. This is exactly what Greg McBride, CFA, senior financial analyst for Bankrate advises: Track your expenses for three months to get an idea of how much you’re spending and where that money is going. Then create a realistic budget that fits within your monthly income, he says. 'The first step to saving is to set boundaries on your spending. And after making a budget, stick to it. That’s the most important part.
